"Devotion"
Poem by Ryan Davis
She waits for sunset, gazing in awe of the form
Stone shattering, he comes to life
Eyes brightly glowing, his wings spread
Massive, intimidating, yet tender as a child's kiss
She cares not for the common fear that humans hold
Love has no interest in a trifle such as that
He looks on her with kindnes and devotion
She takes his hand in hers and walks to the edge
Holding her close, they glide into the night
